The Rotary Club Vienna Maria Theresia is arguably the most international Rotary Club in the world. English is the sole official language of the Club. Founded in 2020 by individuals from the circle of friends and alumni of the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna, it grew rapidly and today comprises members of dozens of nationalities. Our members predominantly work in international professions, in research, in industry, or as international civil servants.
We are co-founders of the Rotary Danube Alliance and other international Rotary initiatives. In 2026, we sponsored the establishment of the Rotaract Club Vienna Maria Theresia.
We are proud of our globally oriented charitable activities, our commitment to European values such as democracy and human rights, and our adherence to Rotary principles such as “Service Above Self.”
